I want to thank everyone for making the " NCS Western District Number 1" race a great success.
The weather was great (air temperature 88 degrees, track temperature 128).
Casey and John Whisenand did a great job with the scoring, announcing and keeping us on time, while running 2 extra provisional classes. Also, thanks to
Denny Andrews for help in announcing while John raced. It was also great to see the many racers that travelled great distances to atend: Randy and Doreen Brown; Mike Dill and his whole family; Murray and John Pipchok; Mike Hunts; and all the guys from Arizona. I would like to thank everyone for their
patience during Tech. All the motor tear-downs were within QSAC spec. Mike

Bob Leydecker and the Boulder City Club should be thanked for providing us with such a great place to race and for the beautiful trophies, plaques and awards.
